Induction Cooktop Not Powering On

Description

The induction cooktop wouldn’t turn on, even though the outlet had power. No lights, no display, and no response from any control buttons. The customer feared a total unit replacement was needed.

Stage 1: Diagnosis


Verified electrical supply and circuit breaker. Then removed the unit from the countertop to access the internal control board and fuse.

Stage 2: Solution Implementation


Discovered a blown internal fuse and a shorted-out power board. Replaced both components with OEM parts after confirming correct model compatibility.

Stage 3: Testing and Handover


Restored power and tested full functionality. Verified that all burners responded and controls were responsive. Provided advice on power surge protection for future safety.
