Washer Not Spinning

Description

The customer reported that their washing machine completed the wash cycle, but the drum was not spinning at all, leaving clothes soaking wet at the end of each load. This is a common issue that can be caused by a variety of factors, including problems with the lid switch, drive belt, or motor. Prompt and accurate troubleshooting was required to quickly identify the root cause and restore the washer to proper working condition.

Stage 1: Diagnosis

The customer reported that their washing machine was completing cycles, but the drum would not spin. We arrived and first checked the control panel for error codes, then manually rotated the drum to check for resistance. We also inspected the lid switch and found it was faulty.
